Main Event Studio was founded by two Hollywood veterans who decided it was time to bring serious creative firepower to life's most important celebrations.
Joshua Dolberg — Co-Founder / Creative Director
Joshua is an Emmy-winning Hollywood creative with more than 25 years of experience producing and editing content for some of the world's biggest networks, studios, and streaming platforms. From development at Lionsgate to projects for CBS, FOX, ABC, Amazon, Discovery, and beyond, his career has been built on making stories unforgettable. Today, through Main Event Studio, he applies that same cinematic expertise to creating one-of-a-kind experiences for families celebrating life's biggest moments.
Robyn Matlin — Co-Founder / Executive Producer
Robyn brings a remarkable and unique path to the table. A former litigation attorney at a prestigious Toronto law firm, she pivoted to a full Hollywood career as a scripted television writer and unscripted producer — developing projects in the United States, Canada, the UK, and the UAE. She knows how to build a compelling story from the ground up, and she brings that instinct to everything Main Event Studio creates.

What does Main Event Studio create? We create cinematic event videos, animated digital invitations, save the dates, hype reels, entrance videos, and custom event logos, all custom-built from your photos and memories with no photo shoots required. Basically if it lives on a screen, we can create it. We also serve our Hollywood network, streaming, and studio clients, bringing that same professional creative energy to everything we do.
What celebrations do you work with? We work with any celebration worth remembering! Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, weddings, Quinceañeras, milestone birthdays, sweet sixteens, graduations, corporate events, sports moments, retirements, celebrations of life and more. If it's a big moment in your life, we want to help you celebrate the way it deserves.
Do I need to be in Los Angeles to work with you? Not at all! We are a fully digital studio based in Los Angeles and we work with clients everywhere in the world. As long as you can upload your photos and videos to us digitally, we can create something incredible for you, no matter where you are.
How do I send you my photos? Once you book with us we'll send you a simple link where you can drag and drop your photos and videos directly into your private folder. No special software or technical knowledge required!
How long does it take to receive my finished video? Our preferred timeline is 4 to 6 weeks — this gives us the time to craft something truly special, incorporate your feedback, and deliver an awesome product. That said, we completely understand that life doesn't always give us that luxury and we are happy to work with you on tighter timelines. Rush fees may apply depending on the turnaround needed.
What formats will my video be delivered in? We deliver in whatever format you need — widescreen 16x9 for event screens and TV displays, vertical 9x16 for TikTok and Instagram Stories, square 1x1 for Instagram feed posts, and more. Your primary format is included with your package, and additional formats are available for a small fee. Just tell us where you're showing it and we'll make sure it's perfectly sized and ready to go.
Can I request changes after I see the first version? Yes! Most of our packages include one or two rounds of revisions as standard. For further changes or rush requests, additional fees may apply.
